Pelvic Health Physiotherapy is billed and treated like any other kind of physiotherapy.
Most extended health private insurance policies offer physiotherapy coverage. It is recommended that you consult your private health care policy to determine specific information about your physiotherapy coverage.
Your physiotherapy appointment will be billed to you (as physiotherapy), and you can submit this directly to your insurance company. Core Restore offers an email receipt of payment to make your insurance submission easy and seamless.
Q: Do I need a Doctor’s Referral before my assessment? A: You do not.
Physiotherapists are self-regulated health care professionals who have at least 6 years of university education and a Masters degree in Physiotherapy. Physiotherapists are Primary Health Care Providers and can directly assess and treat your condition.
Some private Extended Health Care Insurance companies may require a doctor’s referral; check with your insurance policy to see if you need a doctor’s referral for reimbursement of your physiotherapy treatment.
Q; What if I have a physiotherapy referral for another physiotherapy clinic?
• You have the freedom to go to what ever clinic you feel best suits your plan of care. • Your physiotherapy referral does not have to specify a pelvic health condition. • Remember, the physiotherapy referral is for the benefit of your insurance coverage.
Q: Accepted methods of private payment:
• Cash or Debit • VISA, Mastercard, UnionPay, Apple Pay and Android Pay
